Yule - A Holiday Sprite

Yule is the Hollow Tree’s Holiday Sprite. Each morning, she slips through the forest with a basket full of tiny ornaments she crafted from frost crystals, pinecone petals, and glimmers of dawn light. As she goes, she plants a little wonder, stirs a little trouble, and reminds every creature that now is a time of magic, mirth, and gentle mischief.

She knows that this season is when hearts gather — families returning home, friends meeting over warm mugs, laughter drifting through the crisp air. Her magic lays the backdrop for these moments: snow that crunches under boots, icicles that gleam like cathedral windows, and skies so clear they feel like a sparkling blanket. Every shimmer she leaves behind reminds us of the holiday’s magic. Even the coldest mornings carry a hint of wonder, as if each snowflake has a secret to whisper.

But her favorite magic of all is the Quiet Cheer, a spell she casts by brushing her fingers across the snow. It spreads a soft hush through the forest—a peaceful, glowing stillness where hearts soften and worries melt like ice in candlelight.

If you listen, you may hear the faint chime of a bell. That delicate ring means Yule has passed by, leaving behind a trail of holiday warmth, quiet magic, and joy that lasts long after the season ends.

Yule's body and dress are cotton trimmed with yarn. She sports a bell at the tip of her hat.  Her arms and wings are bendable; her shoulders and hips move.  Costuming and finish work are done by hand.

She is 8" tall from hat tip to toe, she is 3" wide at her widest point.
