Naida - A Water Sprite

Naida was born from the first drop of rain on a quiet pond; shaped by the glacier’s icy breath and the gentle touch of mountain snow.

 She delights in the way water bends light, in the shifting reflections that hide and reveal the secrets beneath the surface. Providing only glimpses of what could be.  She is the ripple that vanishes just as you reach for it, the elusive mist of the waterfall.

Toss a pebble into the water and make a wish.  Her answer, soft and fleeting, will return in the next ripple that touches your feet. But beware—Naida’s answers are never simple. Water is a trickster’s element, bending, shifting, revealing only what it chooses.

 Naida, like the water she was born from, is ever-changing, ever-moving—eternal as the rain, free as the river’s song.

Naida's body is cotton; her dress is 7 different specialty fabrics stitched together. Her bodice is freshwater pearls and beads. Her hair is yarn. Her arms and wings are bendable; her shoulders and hips move.  Costuming and finishing work are done by hand. Their beaded hangers can be removed.

 7" tall from the top of her hair to her toes X 4" wide at her widest point (skirt).
