Light - A Tribute Doll

In January and February, the light arrives gently and slips away early, as if the world is resting between breaths. Time slows. Hearts may feel tender, but they are still open.

Longing for brightness, I gathered fabrics that remembered summer—sun-drenched yellow, a shimmer of blue, a dazzle of white, and warm, glowing gold. Within the quiet magic of the Hollow Tree, I stitched them together and brought forth a radiant Fey named Light (a simple name, chosen with affection rather than flair). 

She waits patiently in the shadows, holding warmth close and glowing steadily, until the days remember how to stretch themselves again. She is a small promise, stitched and shining, reminding us that the light always returns.
