Fabric and ribbon and yarn, oh my!!
One of the most exciting parts of the process is choosing the materials. These are some of the fabrics, yarns, threads and ribbons I use for Mariposa. I begin with a main component, like the body fabric; that settled, I begin to choose other materials to compliment the main component. It can take me hours. Even days. And then in one finicky moment, some new creation will decide that they don't care for one of my choices and it’s back to the fabric heap.
