Montana Wildflower Sprites

Little jewels of color peeking through the snow, painting meadows, mountains, and prairies. They dance in the breeze, sway with the wind, play with butterflies, and flirt with the bees. Turning their faces to the sun, they reach high while staying rooted.

But if you linger long enough, and look with more than ordinary eyes, you may notice that not every shimmer among the blossoms belongs to a flower. Hidden among the blooms are Sprites—tiny spirits of the wildflowers. They glow like drops of morning dew, with laughter as light as birdsong. To some they are only a flicker of color, gone in an instant, but to those who believe in magic, they are the living song of the wildflowers.
